Bhutan Scouts Association awarded SERVICE MEDALS to SCOUT LEADERS

Bhutan Scouts Association recognized Three Scout Leaders and BSA official for their devoted and outstanding services in Scouting.

3 Scout Leaders and a BSA official receives Scout Service Award today coinciding the 6th National Scout Day Celebration held at Samdrupjongkhar Bhutan. The award is also initiated to commemorate the 40th Birth Anniversary of our Druk Gyalpo King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck held at Samdrupjongkhar Bhutan.

Award Recipients;
1. Lifetime Achievement Medal-Mr. Pema Wangchuk, Retired National Training Commissioner, BSA ( 1999-2019)- Lifetime Achievement Award
2. GOLD MEDAL-Mrs. Sonam Lhamo, Leader Trainer, Scout Secretary, Thimphu Thromde Scout Association
3. SILVER MEDAL-Mr. Phub Wangdi, Assistant Leader Trainer, Secretary, Dagana Scouts Association
4. BRONZE MEDAL- Mrs. Sherab Wangmo, Assistant Leader Trainer, Secretary, Mongar Scouts Association.

The award scheme has been instituted by Bhutan Scouts Association as a part of the World Scout Award system to recognize and acknowledge the Unit Leaders, Scouts and Adult Volunteers who has contributed selflessly for the Scouting Movement in Bhutan and abroad. BSA will soon start with other schemes as stated below:
